Transcore is an important link in the seafastening of cargo (so-called stacking) in the ports. It works for various clients in the port of Rotterdam.

Job Description

You will work in the heart of the port. Together with your colleagues you are responsible for loosening and securing the stackers in the containers for the sea vessels calling at the Rotterdam terminals. No day is the same, you are working at one of the most dynamic places in the port of Rotterdam.

Job Requirements ( We are looking for M/F)

• You have a valid VCA Basic or VCA VOL certificate (please include this on your resume);
• You possess driving license B and own transportation;
• Upon employment, you must be able to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct;
• Your command of the Dutch language is perfect, both verbally and in writing;
• You enjoy working outdoors and are not afraid of heights;
• You enjoy working as part of a team and have a no nonsense mentality;
• You can work a variety of shifts and do not mind working irregular hours.
• You are available on Fridays.

Working days and times

Day, evening and night shifts, Saturdays/Sundays and holidays.

Day shift 07.15 - 15.15 hours
Evening shift 15-15 - 23.15 hours
Night shift 23.15 - 07.15 hours

Work location Rotterdam port, mainly Maasvlakte.

We offer:

• Income Development. Our clients use full automatic price compensation (APC) in their collective bargaining agreements .
• A flexible 15.5-hour contract for 3 months; Working more is possible.
• A salary appropriate to position and age;
• A unique work environment;

Contract:

We offer you a phase A contract for minimum 15.5 hours without agency clause under the ABU CLA for 3 months. More work is possible.
